Food for Thought uses real cooking to support real mental wellbeing.
Chef-led. Structured. Purposeful.
Because what we eat affects how we feel.
Confidence as well as life skills are developed in the kitchen.

Neuro-Spicey is our structured cooking programme for children and young people with SEND, delivered in partnership with Super SEN.
In a calm, supportive kitchen environment, sessions are carefully paced and adapted to individual sensory and communication needs. Participants prepare simple, nutritious dishes while building confidence, independence and positive relationships with food.
We don’t just teach recipes we create safe, successful food experiences.
We are currently delivering a funded NeuroSpicey block in collaboration with Colebridge Trust and Super SEN.

These sessions focus on reducing food anxiety, increasing independence and supporting families to build sustainable, positive food habits at home.
Structured. Practical. Preventative.
Delivered through food.

Join us every Friday, 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at Dorothy Parkes Centre for Soup & Social, where we serve free homemade soup and fresh bread in a welcoming space for conversation and connection.
This weekly gathering is about more than food – it’s about bringing people together.
Everyone is welcome, whether you come for the soup, the company, or both.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
